“I used Salters Events for my 50th birthday last summer and they will be doing my wedding this September which will be fully catered.
My party was a relaxed affair so they didn’t serve but the food came in trays ready to put out.
We planned on 30 people but last year Covid meant we only had 22 so lots of food left over!
We had the chicken apricot canapés and the salmon one ( and another which I can’t quite remember right now) which were all delicious. We had smoked chicken, new potatoes, salad, aubergine and halloumi and dips and charcuterie platter. Fruit platter and brownies for dessert.
It was all amazing and delicious. Ian and Robyn were great and have been so helpful with planning the food for our wedding. They also compared favourably when we got quotes from other caterer’s. They were always our first choice but wanted to check out what else was available as we are trying (and failing !!) to stick to a budget.
We first came across Salters Events at a pop up fine dining event in our local deli. Since then we have been to their pop up evenings in the bottle shop and had their fine dining home delivery during COVID which was as good as the other home delivery menu’s we had from Michelin starred/ Great British Menu chefs.
We are very lucky to have these guys on our doorstep and they do a lot of events in our area. As you can probably tell, I can’t recommend them highly enough!”
